I started my own business because I wanted to combine my two greatest passions – working with children, and beautiful photography.

As an NNEB-qualified nursery nurse, with three children of my own, I already had the knowledge and experience to ensure that all my little clients were in safe hands throughout a shoot, and I’d been honing my photography skills for some years before turning professional – though getting the chance to further my craft with an award-winning portrait photographer really launched my career properly.

I’ve been specialising in creating pictures of babies (from newborn to toddler), children, families and expectant mums for more than a decade, and in that time I’ve been lucky enough to work with hundreds of gorgeous little people, who all bring their own certain something to a photography session. 

And that’s the special thing about doing my kind of work – every session is different, and it’s a joy to see parents and children alike relaxing in front of the camera and enjoying making memories (even if they’d been a bit nervous at the start!).

 This kind of relaxed environment is very important to me, which is why I will only take one newborn booking per day, to give new parents plenty of time. Calm parents make for calm newborns, which is essential for capturing their exquisite beauty. But it’s not just about getting the best portraits, of course, it’s also about making sure all my clients enjoy their time with me, and have some lovely memories to cherish, as well as a lovely set of images of their little one.
